I would have to say the best aspect of Cardiff University is the support it can offer students struggling with all sorts of problems, from living in Cardiff to problems on their specific course, there is a wide range of support available the student only has to ask and they will be supported. Perhaps the "worst" quality of this University is only that it's far spread out across the city which means people of different studies will be ages away from each other or simply far from the centre of Cardiff making it a chore to go into the city for events and nights out. This could also inhibit their shopping since if the students are far from shops and perhaps without a cars it would be such a hassle to walk to and from the shops carrying bags of food and necessities.

The best part I think is that after I finish my course assuming I've passed everything fine there is basically a guaranteed job for me due to the demand of Radiographers. The worst part might have to be the long lectures early in the morning because sometimes I've not woken up fully and feel terrible whilst struggling to listen and take in the information.

What I like most is probably the gast Internet speed in my room which is amazing for me as an avid gamer. However the least likable thing is probably either the distance it is from everywhere since it's 30mins atleast to anywhere significant nearby or that I live on the third floor without an elevator.

The su has a amazing atmosfear and makes me feel very safe even when i've been drinking. When out on a wednesday importicular the security are very vidulent. I studys at manchester in first year and this is very diffrent from there. A few weeks ago a frend was very drunk and got denayed entry to yolo and the security gard got her some water and asked us if we wanted him to call someone or a taxi to make shore she got home safe, we really apprishated the consern he had about our and expeshaly her safty. The university itself is very good and very accomadating to disabilitys ( i have OCD, ASD, Dislexia and dissasiative suzures) they have put in very good resnoble adjustmants for me and are very acomadating when stuff dose happen that affects my studying. There are sevral diffrent places that we can study and several computer rooms that are open 24/7 which have the needed softwere on that we need to complete our course work. When it comes to my course we have spoken up and voiced our conserns about how much electrical engineering we do and the lack of medical units we do. As a medical engineer we would not need to do three electrical units but only do two medical units. The school of engineering took these concerns we have seriously and have adapted the course for second year as of september comming making shore that we felt heard and that the course is improved. We have also spoken up about the number of labs we do (or the lack of labs we do ) and the school of enginring are looking at improving this as well. Also diffrently to other univeritys (after speeking to frend in other universitys) cardiff have given us a nightline number we can call if we feel unsafe when we are out or if we need help. The number is on our studant ID cards in big colorful way so we can not miss it. As we need our studant ID to get into yolo and have discounts on drinks in misfits i belive this a very good idea and makes us feel safer when we are out knowing that if we feel unsafe we can call this number at any time.
