The campus is amazing. It’s very open and therefore feels inviting to go to. Commuting to uni is easy for me and isn’t that expensive thanks to how local it is to Brighton. Thanks to my course, I have access to a range of equipment that I can borrow at any time which is great! Staff are friendly and the university itself is very inclusive. I’m very glad I chose here :)

I can’t think of anything negative. My course is really interesting and each module feels substantial and rich with things to learn. My course mates and the staff are very kind. It feels very professional which helps me to think about my train of thought.

The university of Sussex is partnered with a lot of places that help graduates find work after finishing a degree. The campus itself feels very safe with a security office and regular patrols of the campus (especially accommodation). It’s very diverse, here, with people from all over the world and people who identify as LGBTQ+ feeling at home here. Staying on campus is quite expensive and the maintenance loan won’t cover all of it. I chose to live on campus for the first week and then decided against it but that’s because I lived quite close anyway. The trains are very reliable as I use them to get home but be aware that the station is shared with the Amex stadium (football games). The buses are good and come every hour but can quite full throughout the day. Overall a great location!

I think that there many times I reached out to course leaders emailing them only to get nothing but I really love the atmosphere of the uni

I love the 24/7 access we have to equipment and facilities but would love more contact time with lecturers

love the rooms, only thing is I wish there was more space in them, but the accom is relatively nice and modern
