The university is in a great location which makes breaks in between classes fun as there are many places to eat, grab a coffee or play a game of pool in the students union. I think it could be improved if there were more on campus activities to get to know other students such as an outdoor movie or a tournament of some kind. The university has so many courses and students that it is hard to mix outside of your own course or club.

One of the best aspects of my course are the amazing facilities in the Sonic Arts Research Centre such as the broadcast studio, podcast booth, radio studios and the equipment rental storing Blackmagic URSA cameras. As well as this, we have amazingly dedicated and experienced lecturers and tutors who have their own industry experience to share with us during teaching. I think a downfall would be that there isn't enough engagement with local production companies and organisations that could be our potential employers once we leave university. Establishing those connections before graduation may help students secure graduate jobs.
