Best aspect is the how it makes me feel. There are lots of places to study at and the facilities are really thoughtful, such as kettle and microwaves, convenience store, student bar to play some pool as a break, nest and the lake to take a breather in. SurreyLearn is laid out very well too, it is efficient and clear, and keeps me in the loop of opportunities within my department. Overall the best aspect to me is how motivating I find to study when I come to the University, helps me focus and has lots of offer. The only aspect that needs improvement are facilities such as toilets, they are sometimes shut and the location is a little further away to reach from some parts of campus. The sanitary pads aren’t always filled up although it isn’t the case for the most part. Toilet locations can be inconvenient to reach, toilets are also dirty at times, having to go through the inconvenience to get to another toilet

Best aspect is being able to rewatch lectures and the way everything is laid out on SurreyLearn makes it easy to access study material and hard to miss news of what is going on within the departments. Aspect that could be improved is how strict attendance can be where extenuating circumstances need to be applied if missed. Although lecturers are very helpful and understanding and reschedule to attend the practicals the same week with another group without having to apply an EC

Best thing is there are lots of shops in the high street where part time work is available. The not-so-great parts would be diversity. During the summer or when students are back home, Guildford is not as diverse and lively. It is a very student-driven town. However it is in a great centre location not far from London, Reading, Brighton and Southampton making it a great drive to go to the neighbouring towns like Haslemere too

Currently living in band F and the best part is being able to live with my partner whilst cutting the rent halfway and also ends up being cheaper. The worst part is the location. Although Manor Park is a lovely place and student oriented, the location isn’t the best as it requires a bus to get into town. Although the bus is always running and can always get to and from town close to the block. The only place to eat around is from the kebab van, especially on nights staying up late for courseworks, it isn’t the healthiest food option around. However having a tesco superstore within 10 mins is a lifesaver as it closes at 12am and it is convenient for essentials

Best aspects is that the campus is very spacious, and green. Its also located near town centre so there are things to do off campus. Worst aspects is 9am lectures are a pain to attend when commuting cause it requires a 6am-7am wake up
