No one could’ve predicted the pandemic and how much of an impact it would have on the world so I’m mostly satisfied with what the uni has delivered over the year. But, I don’t think the regular fee of £9,250 is reasonable for what has been an online course this year.

Newcastles doing it’s best to have as many libraries and computing spaces open currently but they’ve obviously been unavailable mostly

I’ve fortunately not had to use any of the supports I have access to but it’s good to know they’re always there if I needed them

Teachers are doing the best with what they’ve got which unfortunately means my very practical course has had zero in person sessions this academic year.

As engineering is the largest group of students in Newcastle the uni has amazing ties with many industrial leaders which will hopefully give me many choices for my year in industry in 3rd year
