The location is perfect, its calm and filled with nature, and not too far from big cities if you're looking for an escape every now and then. Whilst the nightlife options are limited, it's the people you meet and what you make out of what you have! My department was super helpful with my intercalation period and made the process less daunting than I thought it would be. Improvements are being made all the time so Im sure the experience will only get better!

While the online teaching was something I personally struggled to get comfortable with, having fully inperson content now has been refreshing and much more valuable. The contact time you get with your lectures is great and theres always workshops on career prospects and guest speakers coming to share their experiences, so the uni does make an effort to open your eyes for the future. The balance of pure content and foward-sightedness of the course content is reassuring, as I feel like my learning will be able to assist me for the way my field is heading in the real world

I felt like for what we were paying, what we got was a little underwhelming, but if you're a first year, theres no better way to meet other new students and make friends, and feel safe than staying at the uni halls. Alot of my friends in different colleges and varying experiences, so some it does come down to luck, but also what you make of your time there.
