In general there are plenty of study spaces around the university, however there has been lots of building work going on recently which has forced many of the place in uni to become over crowded and not ideal study environments.

Teaching is mainly in the form of lectures, lectures are good and helpful in answering questions. Provision of office hours is really useful if you take advantage of them. Tutorials I find pretty pointless most of the time. The only real reason I have for going most weeks is to gain an attendance mark

Uni Halls were relatively expensive when compared with the private market. You could also just find much nicer places on the private market for less

I am in my final year at sheffield university and I wouldn’t have changed one thing about my entire university experience! I think this is a amazing university, nightlife and people and really think what more could you ask for? The course has been tough at times but there is plenty of support on offer to help you.Sheffield is not the biggest city centre but it has everything you need, lots of great clubs, and shops especially with meadowhall so close by. The university itself has everything a student could want or need, libraries, study spaces and more - and as for the people no complaints. Everyone is lovely. Mmy advice is however always visit a univeristy before making your decision but i am sure you will love sheffield and all it has to offer!
