The maths building and library is amazing areas to work in and are great to study in quiet areas and group working areas. The only improvement could be more individual group work rooms

The best aspects have been the support form the university and the lectures throughout my time. The location is ideal and the facilities are amazing. The only bad aspect of my experience was how during covid the online support was limited

The room was great with a new kitchen that has all of the appliances needed. The only bad thing was a broken fire alarm that went off every night at 3am

The management of the institution is questionable, however the day to day staff and lecturers are the people who make the university what it is. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many academics and experts who have a genuine passion for their field and for education. Most are a credit to the university and should be valued as such.

Most modules are well prepared and provide all the resources needed with easy access. Contact time is good and office hours cater for everyone. I have an issue with the lack of applied mathematics modules in 4th year, as my choice was very limited due to prerequisites for many of the modules offered.
