A very attractive campus with plenty of workspace as well as social space. Good location for University as less than 5 minutes from local Hospital, and roughly 20-25 minutes from town centre. Courses and campus both very attractive.

Plenty of facilities available to suit your preferred method of study (silent study areas, computer rooms and plenty of group workrooms). Also, plenty of social space for lunchtime or any time not during lectures.

I have not yet needed any support, but the support staff are on hand when you need them, and there are support facilities on campus for those in need of support.

Nottingham has a lot to offer in the way of entertainment and shops. There is plenty to offer for those with unique tastes, and the regular transport (buses running every 5 minutes) as well as the fact that the campus is about 20 minutes away means it's easy to get around.

Some societies could offer more in the way of subject-specific events, rather than have all the events be related to drinking and clubbing. Not everybody is interested in that, so they should make it approachable for everyone.

Some lecturers are better than others, but the overall average quality of lectures is very high, and the workload and structure of the course is very approachable (everything is covered from basics so it is doable regardless of previous experience).

Very informative, with lots of advertisements with regards to any upcoming events (e.g. Job Fairs or Careers Fairs). Lots of information is also available via the website or some of the societies.

I love University park campus, it's beautiful with lots of green space and all the facilities close together; I enjoy being on campus and it feels very safe. There are many study spaces such as the main libraries, libraries in the accommodation buildings, subject departments, cafes and areas in the student union. The student union is very helpful in giving support for different issues; I have used the support they offer to help find a house for second year. Also, support dogs have been brought into the maths department for students to spend time with to relax. University park campus is right next to Wollaton park so it's easy to get out into green space for walks and to relax; the campus also has easy transport into the city centre (busses, trams).

I enjoy the course content and the lecturers are easy to get in touch with and very prompt at answering emails and questions online. The maths department is excellent, it has really good facilities and study spaces. Our courses are mostly taught in person, however some lecturers use a flipped classroom method of teaching, where the content is posted online in videos and the in-person lectures are 'engagement lectures' where they go through questions. Personally, I definitely prefer the more traditional style of teaching, where we learn the content online and find it confusing that different lecturers are teaching in different styles. Also, it's easier to fall behind when the content is posted online because, as well as going to the in-person lectures, you need to remember to watch the content beforehand, so if you forget to watch the online video first then the in-person lecture doesn't make much sense. Other students I have spoken to about this prefer the traditional lecture style over flipper classroom as well.

The hall is great, I was lucky to get a view over the downs, which is beautiful! It is right next to the David Ross Sports Centre and a 5-10 minute walk across the downs to the academic buildings and student union. The wifi works well most of the time, however, I have been unable to connect my xbox to the eduroam wifi (the main wifi for the hall which I use for my phone, laptop etc) so am using the guest wifi which loses connection for about 30 seconds every 30 minutes which is annoying when I'm in a game. I haven't heard anyone else mention this though so maybe there is a way to connect to eduroam which I haven't found. The food here is good, I don't tend to get up early enough for breakfast but the catered dinner is nice, there are I think 4 options each night and the food is on a 3 week rota. The value for money is good, we have to move out completely during the holidays, which can be a bit of a faff but it makes the value for money really good as your not paying for weeks when you're not there. There are cleaners who come regularly and clean the toilets, showers and kitchen and hoover your room occasionally too. Since it is catered, the kitchen/pantry only has a microwave, kettle and toaster and we also have a mini fridge and kettle provided in the rooms too.
