Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The lecturers are very helpful if you struggle with anything. The support system are also very good, but the social life is even better! Be yourself!

Reading, in general is so underrated in how well it is located. The campus is gorgeous, especially the lake. The student's union is a great place to hang out in the day and the Wednesday and Saturday nights there are legendary. All the places like the library, URS building and agriculture are places that I study in and work so well in as they are welcoming, quiet and have all the facilities so that I can either chat with my friends there, do an online interview or simply have a coffee catch-up with my dissertation supervisor. I have had support from my placement tutor but I would definitely benefit in more help from my academic supervisors and lecturers. I don't have many contact hours so have a lot of free time that I use mainly to do work and play sport in 2 university societies; hockey and cricket whereby I am on committee for both so am kept very busy!

I think my lecturers could set aside more time for students to come in and talk to them and also make lectures more interesting. Student interaction in lectures are at an all time low. I managed to get a placement last year but this was through no help of the university and I really think this year should count towards my final grade of my degree.

I loved Wantage. There definitely could have been better food options in the dining room for the catered students. I am still waiting on money back for the accommodation when it was COVID!
