Leeds Beckett university has excellent facilities across its campuses. It allows students to make connections through different events, societies and activities. Being in the heart of leeds, there’s an excellent nightlife, activities and a sense of community that comes with being a student. There’s never a dull moment for students. One improvement could be having more seating arrangement outside the city campus to give students a place to gather and sit during warmer weather

The best aspects of the course is the facilities that are available for all students. The course is taught primarily face to face, with course content still available in the mybeckett hub, allowing students to review and re-read previous contents at any time. The course could be improved by delaying deadlines slightly so students can ensure they learn all content before submitting and rushing due dates

The best aspect about halls is the opportunities to meet new people from different places and form close friendships. However, halls can sometimes be quite loud if flats are perhaps hosting parties or gatherings

The library having many rooms full of different equipment that you may need along with a range of computers and other tech available to you. Is very helpful and for the worst aspects it has to be adapting to how individual the work is compared to sixth form. With less one on one help from your lecturers compared to in school. But it’s a good learning curve that helps me become more independent.

My course is taught quite well. I very much enjoy my lectures with James and the seminars with Charlie I actually look forward to attending. Most of the content is interesting to me so I enjoy learning about it

I was in plaza last year for foundation year and it was really good because of the people I was with. The overall room was alright but had a few issues and the WiFi didn’t work at the start but being on the top floor it was bound to be an issue. The gym was not always open and always had some machines not working. But there were table tennis tables and pool tables that were very fun to go down and use.
