The location despite everything. Such a unique area, especially for international students. Makes the difference. Also, it feels there’s no judgment. You can define who you are and it feels everybody would welcome you for that

Best - The campus is quite student-friendly, with different spaces for different students to spend time in. It is an open space, very warm and comforting for a new student entering the uni and the country for the first time. The facilities are good, and the presence of an on-location library is very useful, efficient and lovely. Also love the Student Union, their quick response and initiative-taking quality. All my professors have been great and super helpful. Really like it! Worst - With the administrative team being completely rehauled, there was a lot of confusion with no clear direction or information on how to solve the issues we had. I am sure if the system was more organised, there wouldn't be as many issues as they would definitely be experienced and know Goldsmiths' ways of working. However, there were some moments when even the people at the hub had no clue about how to answer our queries, taking a lot longer to solve our issues at hand.

Best- Have the most amazing programme convener who has always supported and helped throughout. They are honest, fair in their judgement and very helpful, all you have to do is ask (maybe sometimes not even that). They recognise the qualities in each student and puts efforts in getting to know them. A really great experience so far. The students in the course are all of high calibre, with various backgrounds. This programme has a collaborative environment, yet it enables an individual to identify their strengths and weaknesses and work on them. Worst- Really wish we had a longer course duration!

It is a convenient spot for travelling to and fro from here, however, the space is less safe where we have heard multiple accounts of bad experiences around us.

Most- Easy to commute, not on a busy street so quite quaint. I love the representatives at the reception, they are very helpful and understanding. Least- Maintenance works best when complaint is made at the reception, the app-based system is not effective as they falsely state that the issue has been resolved when it hasn't been. Block A entrance is quite far, making laundry, trash etc work quite cumbersome.
