University as a whole is very good, but third year is too hard so enjoy first year while it lasts. Revise as you go along otherwise when your exams come around you're in big trouble, like me. Make use of the opportunity that you are living in one of the biggest cities in the uk and go and explore. Dont be nervous. Its key to get a good group of friends, be that from your halls, sports group or course etc.
