I like my course specific modules, theyre interesting. The skills module is not taught well.

There is no parking which is stupid as there is a carpark. But it was a nice accommodation with friendly security and a simple design

The campus is easy to find places to study and has a wide range of facilities making studying easy. You are able to book pods and study rooms and have easy access to the library. Food stalls and facilities are placed everywhere making study breaks stress free and cheap! Even studying in the SU bar is a great environment and very cosy. I will say tho studying in the library is cold in the winter as they have all the windows open during freezing temperatures. The actual classrooms themselves can be difficult to find as the uni is very maze-like and labelled poorly. The car park gets way to full to quickly and parking is expensive- especially when I am able to get a whole hot meal cheaper than two hours of parking. Finding spaces to study at the uni however can be a mission as lack of seating and or timing your study session is difficult due to the capacity of students studying at one time. The university computers are out of date in some buildings - meaning they cannot run certain coding programs (R studio) and excel Is out of date meaning certain features required for course work cannot be accessed. The WiFi crashes a lot and is frustrating during any online exams. The uni also like to continue fire drills during exam season meaning some of us have had to evacuate during an exam and hope that our extenuating circumstances forms at accepted due to the interruption.

I love my course but students need to be heavily informed of the expenses as some trips cost more than advertised. Distribution of content can seem chaotic and overwhelming at points due to lack of communication between lecturers and deadlines can clash easily. But over all it’s an amazing course with great experiences

I loved how big my room was in comparison to those in copse who payed silly money for a box room. However trouble from the general public and students can make it a disruptive place to live especially if you are on the ground floor. Intoxicated students and general public would bang on the windows and damage cars at early hours of the morning causing police to be called. Campus security rarely visits as they don’t want to cross the white bridge due to the length of time it takes- the white bridge feels uncomfortable to walk across especially knowing that a young woman was sexually assaulted crossing this bridge. When moving in everything was falling apart or didn’t work including toilets breaking, stoves not working and cupboards falling apart. As bad as this review maybe this was my personal experience but I will say in comparison to the other halls it’s value for money and convenience win as getting to the shops easily and being able to park a car outside without getting a parking ticket from the uni is a win.
