Generally, HWU is good for marine biology, it has hands on experience and good, quality lecturers

decent, but need some work/support

counsellors are available and the counsellors are good - tutors are generally responsive

I don't really use the SU much, but when I do the facilities are good

accommodation on campus and local buses are handy

lots of varieties - something for everyone

they're good contact hours, and a lot of lectures are available afterwards - around 18 hours contact

careers department are keen and the course offers good transferable skills

I am enjoying my experience at Heriot Watt. The lectures are mostly excellent and there are plenty of things to do outside of class which makes for a healthy balance. I have also made some brilliant friends.
