It would be a thoughtful and welcoming gesture for the university to provide new students with a small welcome pack or souvenir bearing the school’s name upon arrival, no matter how simple. This would help create a positive first impression and a sense of belonging. Prior to arrival, tuition fee payments were communicated as flexible; however, this later changed to the removal of payment plans. Greater consistency and transparency in fee policies would be highly appreciated by students. The Student Union, as the representative body of students, should be able to advocate on behalf of students by requesting reasonable extensions for tuition fee payments when necessary. Organising a city tour for international students would be very beneficial, as it would help them familiarise themselves with their new environment, understand the culture, and appreciate the city better. Additionally, arranging industrial visits or tours for international students would be valuable, as many students come not only for academic purposes but also for exposure and the opportunity to experience how industries operate in other countries. Finally, full and clear disclosure of course information should be consistently provided on the university website and shared with students to ensure transparency and proper academic planning. Good The lecturers provide excellent support, demonstrating great availability, approachability, and a genuine willingness to engage with and encourage students throughout their academic journey. The school facilities are impressive, well-maintained, and highly supportive of a conducive learning environment.

The pods in the quad garden are excellent but could be slightly bigger and more of them.

Some issues around room allocation last year but mostly good. The labs could do with a tidy up.
