As a first year student, I feel like my transition into uni life has been easy and a lot more relaxed than I had anticipated prior to coming here.i was very nervous about moving to a new city alone as i have never really been away from home.But leeds uni has a very welcoming atmosphere that reminds of home a lot. Leeds has the perfect balance of work and play hard. I would say don't panic and relax! Uni here is not difficult and everyone is great.

Don't travel if you think you will have more fun at home. I had a boyfriend at home when I left, and spent the entire time wishing I was with him. It made me miss home a lot, and I didn't enjoy the time I had there
