i think the best aspect is the campus as there is a lot of spaces for studying and the library facility is very good and supportive of finding spaces to do group work the dining areas are also very good as there is weekly changes and different stations for different cuisines from all over the world as well as having good options for different dietary needs. some ways i think the university could be improved is if there was a car park nearby or university funded bus/ coach services for university students as i commute it’s quite difficult using public transport especially with strikes and disruptions

I think this university is very good in terms of contact with lecturers as we have weekly meetings that can be online or in person with personal development tutors. This time is very beneficial for students to voice, their opinions and how they get on with the course in smaller groups than the usual big classes that attend lectures and seminars. In terms of the lesser favourable aspects of the course, I would say the facilities is one as my business and events management so I am in the business and law faculty, meaning most of my classes and lectures over the years have been in the lord ashcroft building on the Cambridge campus. This building is good as it does have loads of different classrooms with a range of different technology. However, for an events students I feel there needs to be more rooms that can be dedicated to hosting events within them as part of the course is to organise and design events, but students normally have to look around the university and find classrooms in different buildings to host these events. therefore, I feel there is a benefit for there to be more halls/ assembly rooms for this purpose

ARU is a great place to study for everyone! I love the diversity in students and staff, and how everyone has support and inclusion needed! Great place to both work and study, as I am also employed as a part time engagement officer at ARU. I would say that the only thing that could be improved is some of the facilities, but there is already renovation work olin place.

I received great support throughout all modules I was completing so far. Great dedication from academics and from Career Team as well. I will be graduating in 6 months and I feel completely prepared for my graduate life thanks to my course, faculty, Employability Service and most importantly my university. The only bad aspect was the online experience of the course during covid, but I think it’s the case for everyone.
