My overall experience has inevitably been dampened by the covid-19 pandemic. Where possible though, the Union has been incredible at organising ways to get us out and drinking when this is allowed (including setting up the biggest university drinking venue in the UK during September/October/November time). The teaching has adapted well for my course and I feel supported!

The uni has a pretty new library which is well stocked and organised. The lecture theatres are fine, if a little uncomfortable. The main issue is accessibility - the campus is on a hill, meaning there all over campus. It is extremely inaccessible to anybody with disabilities.

The centre for well-being is a good tool! My personal tutor is also incredibly supportive, and overwhelmingly I feel that the university has supported me very well. This isn’t necessarily true for everyone but for me, I can’t fault it too much.

Due to Covid, teaching is currently all online. I do not feel the quality of teaching has drastically changed and with weekly tutorials for each module, a weekly drop in session for each module and the ability to reach out to lecturers/tutors whenever I don’t understand something I still feel very supported in my learning.

I’m pretty sure the uni has actually provided a lot of help around employability and I just haven’t engaged with it
