There's always someone to talk to from your tutors to the student union to nightline

Student Union could be a little more active in connecting the students together

Great nightlife in nottingham that's suitable for anyone!! Music scene is comparable to bigger cities like Manchester and London

I haven't taken advantage of the societies but i hear there's loads on offer

The lecturers really seem to genuinely care that you do well

There's career advice everywhere you look from emails about placement opportunities to an entire career department dedicated to students.

Everything on offer that you could ever need and your lectures are practically on your doorstep

My overall experience at the university has been positive so far. The teaching is great and has a wide range of content. My individual tutors have also been helpful in guiding me. The counselling services however are poor and I did not find them helpful. There is also stagnation in policies and ideas passed through higher up aspects of the university, so it is hard to get your voice heard. I think a revaluation of the cost for the services during the pandemic should be reevaluated.

The teaching is great and has definitely adapted well to the current Covid 19 pandemic
