The union is so modern and has everything you'd want in it. The facilities in general are amazing - the gym is very modern and you get free membership as a halls of residence member. The campus is lovely due to all the green spaces and I personally love the mix of different buildings. Student life is great, there are so many opportunities and it's such a student-based area that you can really feel like part of a community. The student support is the only thing - there's definitely support out there but you have to actively seek it out and be really on it in order to access it effectively.

All lectures and seminars are in person which is great. There's definitely opportunity to make contact with tutors/lecturers but you have to put in the effort to do so. The course is very interesting so far, I've especially loved the modules this term (last term they were less interesting). They try to give a lot of career support and guidance but again it's up to you to put in the effort because no-one is going to push you into accessing it. The lecturers are always very knowledgeable and by having multiple lecturers across a module they can hone in on their specialties which allows for very detailed lectures.

The halls themselves are great - definitely value for money because they're so close to campus and relatively cheap. The communal space is lovely and a lot bigger than other accommodations I've visited which allows for lots of socialisation. The common room is also impressive - very modern and fun (pool table, big TV, air hockey). It has shared bathrooms but this hasn't caused any issues and they are cleaned once a week. The rooms are a really good size and have double beds. The wifi sometimes goes out which is annoying. There is a gate which helps with feeling safe and fobs to get into the block and the flat so layers of protection. The management team are always very prompt and thorough if we have any maintenance issues.
