I like UCLan because of the convenient location to public transport, and the more compact feel of the campus meaning it is quick and easy to get to my lectures, to go grocery shopping and go out into town if I feel like it. I cannot fault the student support services at all. From when I started uni they had all the necessary support in place for me, and I have never once been treated differently (by both staff and students) for my disability. However I wish there were more gender neutral toilets on campus and more nuanced module focuses, as I feel like this would have gauged my interest better. Nevertheless for me, UCLan was the natural choice.

I wish there was a better option than just speaking at me for a lecture, as I find myself zoning out during lessons when I am taught like this. The lecturers are great and know their stuff, however I wish that we were given feedback more frequently. As a Creative Writing student, feedback is crucial for improvement, and I feel like this would have helped me develop my writing further.

I like that it’s just the right size for me. It can get too warm which would be a problem later on in the year when there’s a heatwave. Another issue is that my flat is on the other end of campus, which isn’t too bad considering it’s only 10 minutes away, however this adds up after a while. I like however how the door locks automatically behind me meaning there’s one less thing to worry about when I’m in a rush!

Support from staff who are top in their respective research areas was astounding. One on one sessions with Professors who have fellowships nationwide was a privilege and unexpected. Very valuable

Don't know many fellow graduates who have gone on onto full time employment. However, jobs across all graduate sectors are scarce.

Not applicable to me, but have heard mixed reviews. Good, but very overpriced when compared to private renting
