The best part is the campus and The English and History facilities. The student support could be more easy to understand and access, but it is not bad.

Most lectures are really interning and useful, however there are some that are not. The lecture recordings are really useful as they allow you to re watch lectures. The lack of contact hours and the large amonts of reading it probably me least favorite part.

Compared to the more expensive accommodation options i think this is nicer as it has been recently re done. The shared bathrooms are fine and not mouldy! There are 4 to 12 so its quite a good number of bathrooms. The rooms are a reasonable size and have a sink in which is really good. The kitchen is really big which is really nice!

I have enjoyed studying at Lancaster however I feel that the amount of communication for my course could be improved. I hear from the English Literature department nearly every day but I am rarely in contact with the History department despite it being half of my degree I find the campus style uni to be very useful, especially the amount of shops on site as you don't have to leave campus to get the essentials.

The teaching over all is very good, there dont seem to be many contact hours but the lectures are very informative and the seminars are usually structured in an engaging way. Most lectures are recorded which is good for revision but some of the lecturers do not record lectures which makes reviewing notes on subjects more difficult

The townhouse is good value for money but there have been several times where we have been without hot water and for the price, this is very inconvenient. The social aspect is very good as a large house encourages socialising and they are conveniently placed on campus so that you can leave the main part of campus but still be close by to everything you need.
