The English Literature department at Cardiff University are kind, compassionate, and friendly individuals, who want every student to succeed. When I graduate, I will be leaving Cardiff University a better person, and I can think of no higher compliment for a university department.

The best part of the course is the thriving research culture, working closely with amazing staff, and the opportunities to contribute to undergraduate teaching. Sometimes it can be a bit lonely being a PhD student, but there is a strong sense of community and the PGR office spaces are so useful.
