Getting the opportunity to study abroad as part of my degree is brilliant, most other unis don’t offer this so it particularly won me over in terms of picking Manchester as my first choice. My tips for getting for a place would be make sure you enjoy what you do before you apply, be willing to embrace new cultures and experiences (particularly if you’re going abroad!) and be open to new opportunities as Manchester will provide you with a lot of them.

Film lecturers are super friendly and approachable. manchester is a great city to live in

1st year was hard because everything was online and felt very isolating
