Good overall university. Lecturers are very approachable and supportive. Good facilities on Wrexham campus, in particular the library. Northop campus is much smaller but also as some good facilities. Overall happy.

Additionally, the campus facilities, including libraries and study spaces, are well-maintained and conducive to learning. However, one area that could be improved is the variety of extracurricular activities. Expanding student clubs and societies could enhance the social experience on campus, giving students more opportunities to network and engage outside of academics. Also, the transport links to the campus could be improved for better accessibility, particularly for students who commute. Overall, Wrexham University offers a fantastic learning environment but could benefit from a few adjustments to enhance the overall student experience.

The access to state-of-the-art lab facilities enhances the learning experience, and the modules are up-to-date with current scientific research and industry trends. The lecturers are approachable and offer excellent support, often going beyond scheduled hours to provide guidance and feedback. On the downside, the course can be quite intensive, especially during the peak assessment periods, with heavy workloads and tight deadlines. Additionally, there could be more opportunities for placements or internships embedded within the course to better prepare students for the job market. While the contact hours with lecturers are valuable, there are times when more frequent feedback or additional tutorials would be beneficial, particularly for challenging topics. Overall, it’s an engaging and enriching course, but balancing workload and expanding career-focused opportunities would improve it further.
