First and foremost lecturers are fantastic! Their wealth of experience and knowledge is incredible. Each lecturer has their own area of expertise and they are always willing to help/assist in anyway they can. The course content is great and very suitable for those who want to go on to working in the marine industry. The only thing that could be improved is the administration although this may be due to a move in systems, causing a few issues with timetables, emails etc.

Some of the building could be improved. For example, St Michaels building could have a better study area because alot of the other building do. Also bathrooms on every floor because sometime there is only a mens toilet on one floor and you have to go up or down a floor to get to a female toilet

We do alot of pre work which is videos from previous years and i feel like we can miss out on actually being taught it because they are relying on the videos. What is the point of having a 2hr lecture to only briefly go over it and get let out early

Location is good but it looks like a prison. I understand it is a cheaper halls of residence but the bedrooms are tiny and the bed is like a camping bed. The heating is controlled by management which is not fair as some people are comfortable at different temperatures. The maintenance team are terrible at fixing things and take ages
