It's so nice to study and party within a student city. The location is very good with everything being walking distanced. Very good student support and they are very quick if you place a request for support. Chill lectures and overall clean feeling.

Lectures are in person and overall very good. They do listen to the students and answer questions quickly

It is the expensive dorm but it's very good. Only thing is the heating isn't great so make sure you grab some blankets. Room size is good and bathroom size is good. Got a massive board for pictures and notes. Good feel

Uni has been a great way to make friends and enjoy the city. Although it can be interesting to learn about the course, there is an overwhelming amount of content in lectures. Field trips are more enjoyable and a nicer way to learn but these are limited. There is not enough support/compassion given to students who are stressed and struggling with the work load. Student support is good but lecturers should be more understanding.

A lot of our lectures are spaced out throughout the week, often 1-3 hours a day on average. It would be a lot better to hold several lectures on one day so that we can make good use of the time when we are not studying, for example with managing the assignments. We usually get caught with a late finish on Fridays and start early on Monday mornings which makes it difficult to make plans to go home and see family when a lot of students aren’t local to the city. This has made it extremely difficult and would benefit students and the quality of their assignments if this is considered more.

I liked the location of st marks, it is very close to the university buildings and town. Although it was quite pricey, it was well worth it for the opportunity to have an en-suite and be so close by. It was a bit of a struggle when living 9-12 students but it’s not too much of a hassle if you get along. Can be a great introduction to uni and uni life.
