Best: Great location. So close to town centre. Diverse mix of students, ethnically and mature students etc. I don't live at the university so can't comment on the SU or student life but I believe it is good through hearing from my friends. Lecturers are friendly and very helpful. Course content is great and very hands on. Online moodle system works great and is easy to navigate. Worst: Don't have many bad things to say! I'm very pleased with the University. Only response would be that lecturers can be slow at replying to emails etc.

Tutor has checked in once which was nice. Would be nice to have more frequent check ins as I struggled about half way through the term mentally and could've done with some help. I didn't want to go to them, so a check in would've been helpful. Lots of time doing practicals which is great. Would be better if we could analyse practicals as a class at the end; review what was good and bad and discuss it together. Some lectures feel futile in the intro to Biomedical Science module. Some feel like they're just filling time. Could be condensed better. All other modules are great, maybe a little more interactive activities would be good to solidify knowledge from lectures.

I previously suffered from serious mental health issues and found the support provided by the university incredibly helpful for both my recovery and studies. There are several campuses and each society will choose one to have their weekly events, but getting around to these places can be awkward as they are very spread out. The bus service between campuses isn’t very reliable or direct, and stops going after many societies usually finish their events, leaving you somewhat stranded unless you leave early

The course is well planned out, especially the scheduling. Most modules go over their topics very well, making sure everyone understands. There are also several field trips to get more experience. A couple of the lecturers are very inexperienced with technology, meaning that a few lectures have started late as they struggle to start the recording and presentation

The halls are pretty far away from any campus and even further from any supermarket, making it feel quite disconnected without using the unreliable bus. But it is next to some nice parks. There are card scanners in most places to make sure only those staying there can get in, but recently there were some bikes stolen from the sheds. There is a small gym on the site which is included in the rent fees, adding a lot of value to the rent.
