Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

I'm glad I went to Glasgow uni, I am sure the things I learnt here and the experience I gained thorough my studies made me feel more confident about myself when looking for a job, talking to people from the field and outside or whenever it comes to any kind of communication. I feel like I love the fact I feel enriched with so many positive attributes that altogether make up a brilliant set of transferable skills in case I couldn't find a job in my field.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

I feel the uni gives me lots of valuable oportunities to increase my employability by offering plenty of employer talks, fairs, opportunity to try a mock interview, helping me to write a better CV, informing me about internships, graduate possibilities, competitions for placements and other prizes. Apart of that, there's lots of assessments as a part of my course that improved my written and oral presentation by many fold. I feel like I will definitely bind a job after graduation.

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

The content, enthusiasm of lecturers, their attitude towards us and helpfulness, structure of the course and lots of practical work.

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

To be honest I don't care so far everything goes fine. Thinking about it I think they do a good job.

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Very good. They inform us on regular basis about possibilities taking place at campus that have the potential to increase our employability, ways to get involved in various different extra-curricular activities to take a break off studying for a moment or mock interviews to make us more relaxed when the important interview about a new job comes. The awesome thing is the fact you can ask them to make the mock interview for you up to 5 years after graduation.
