I had an excellent time at UEA. Teaching (biochemistry) was outstanding, a good mix of practical and theory that helped me to get my current job as an academic. The facilities were modern and we were well provided for. The city of Norwich was great fun and events in the town and at the Uni were well organised by the SU

A good amount of computers, lots of places for food and drink on campus. Very large library that was very useful.

The SU at UEA organised some very good music, dance and sporting events

Norwich is a lovely city with a great nightlife and very friendly locals. Lots to do and see, but it never felt too big and impersonal like other cities such as London.

UEA takes sports seriously, so there are many different clubs you can join with excellent funding, equipment and facilities.

Overall the teaching on my course was very good indeed. There were some excellent tutors who were passionate and knowledgeable about their topics, however there were a few courses that were not as well run as others

After leaving UEA I had a good knowledge and the skills required so that I quickly secured a PhD placement.

Very nice accommodation and this was still being updated and improved when I left, however the accommodation is very expensive considering the rental prices in the city or Norwich
