The best thing is the size of the campus, it is human sized with lots of green spaces to spend the sunny days in. The library is also great, with loads of books and different study spaces (silent and group spaces), to suit everyone's needs. The worst part would be the organisation/communication sometimes. We know very late the exam dates (less than a month before-hand).

There is very little hours of lectures per week, most of the work is self-directed but the lecturers and tutors are always happy to help you. Right now, small classes are in person. The university invested in blended teaching classrooms with cameras following the person speaking. This is great as it enables people who can't come face to face to follow the class online and not lose any content. We have a study advisor with who we meet in small groups every 2 weeks to see how we are doing.

Dundee is a great place for students, it is a human-sized city where you can go everywhere by foot and you have the wildness of the countryside at 30 mins by car. It is mainly occupied by students (and a lot of seagulls), there is a big international community with students from the whole planet, which forms a great culture of sharing. There is loads of cute cafés, pubs and nightclubs to go out. You can find everything you need in the city centre. There is also loads of parcs and you can go up Dundee Law to see a nice view over the city (great spot for sunsets too). I would recommend to anyone who likes the countryside and nature to come to study in Dundee :)

Seabraes accommodation (the new one) is located just next to campus and the big Tesco. It is not in the city centre but 10 mins away by foot. The management team is very nice and is happy to help with any queries. It is great to have your own bathroom and the living room/kitchen is huge! So that's great to invite some friends over and have some fun. The bedrooms have big desks with lights, perfect for study sessions. There is inspections every so often to check on the state of the flat. Also, a student representative comes once a month to see how we are getting along in the flat and we can share any issues ongoing. The building is very secure, the heating and wifi are good.
