Studying my bio medicine degree at Newcastle University Medical School has been truly remarkable. I was looking to study at a place where there is some good competition and challenge and Newcastle University Medical School had a lot of it for me. I was living in Richardson Road for my first year and it was just a minute away from the Medical School and also the Library.

Newcastle university is such a great place to study for many reasons. One of the obvious reasons being the location and city itself (aka the nightlife). The university itself has many great facilities, one of my favourites being the Philip Robinson Library which has an inviting atmosphere (unusual for a library).

I enjoy the content mostly with my course. It can be very challenging at times but it’s interesting nature drives me through.

Personally I think in comparison to other Newcastle university halls, Portland green is extremely overpriced for what it is.
