UWE has offered me a place to grow, with the support I needed. The disability support team has always been accommodating to me and helped me in my studies. The Students Union is a vibrant and active part of campus life with various events throughout the year as well as the daily staff and support they provide. I have bee supported by lecturers and technical staff during lectures and practical work in the labs, I've been encouraged to push my boundaries and have achieved more here than I ever thought possible. The campus is an inviting place to be, with many hidden gems within the greenspaces of Frenchay, and I can all ways find a place to centre myself. The downfalls of campus is the many construction building going on to expand accommodation, and how over worked and underfunded the staff are.

I'm lucky enough to be doing a science degree where I get to study in lectures and also have practical work in the labs, with the help of the technical support staff. Being in the lab is always the best part of my course, It gives me great experience and fuels my drive. The lecturers clearly have a passion and it comes across in their teaching, an enthusiastic lecturer makes a great lecture.
