I have really enjoyed university I enjoy the campus and the inclusive / family like feel you get at Lancaster It is a lot easier to make friends than expected with there being fresher schemes at the beginning of the year and there are always events and things going on in the university

Lancaster university has excellent facilities for both study with the library being a great place and it even being expanded and likewise there are other great facilities for day to day life with there being little need to leave campus

I think there is a wide range of support you could access in the uni if you wished. Each person is assigned an academic advisor which you have meetings each term and can contact if there are any issues

There has been issues within the student union this year especially in the university; however, personally I have never suffered by their actions

The city life isn’t as strong as expected - only a small area with not many shops and most of them small Likewise there is nightlife; however, only two major clubs which to many isn’t a lot

The clubs and societies seem really enjoyable and inclusive. E.g. college netball - friendly girls and get you involved with themed socials and nights out as well as a tour to Budapest this year

I like having structure and course materials uploaded on to moodle with a lot of access at any time However - some modules are less organised than others - e.g. their moodle page is less organised than others causing more difficulty

They create massive efforts with employability lectures and dinners and informing you of opportunities released by firms aswell as having a bursary scheme to help with costs of work experience
