If I am honest. The experience of university is a big change from my life experiences before. University life is also very different from what I expected it to be like. One thing I think future students need to be aware of is how independent you are expected to be. You have to be independent with travel, time, money , studies , exams and lots of things. I think once you master the skills in order to be independent you should be successful and enjoy university, however if not then you may require more help and advice which the university of Sheffield does offer. A key skill what I think needs to be learnt is time management.
