Glasgow is one of the biggest cities in Scotland. The Uni is fabulous and the facilities they provide are good. Being in a big city, some halls of residence are a little far from the University. My halls (Wolfson Hall) were fantastic with en-suite bedrooms, catered facilities and common rooms, but it was very far if I was asked to walk from the Uni after a tiring day.

As a uni, Glasgow is very good. It has a large variety of courses, good lecturers and teachers, great infrastructure, etc. The halls are okay. The city is superb. There are many local attractions, like the museums, theatres, art galleries and much more. The nightlife is too good. The cold weather will actually make you have more drinks, so be ready to drink beyond your limit.
