bristol is great but it is mainly because of the city and not the university. i do like my course it is good but not much individual attention on my course. you are kind of left to your own devices, which considering how much we are paying is not good.

If you study at Bristol Uni you'll realise that there are so many different opportunities available to you as a student. These are flagged in weekly emails which works really well. However, strikes have affected study time and I believe that students should be reimbursed for this.

We have great tutors who really dedicated themselves to learning. Furthermore, the mixture of both in person contact hours alongside asynchronous materials that we have to go through during our own time works well. Recorded lectures are very beneficial to many students. Nevertheless, there should be more talks or points or reference towards future careers and pathways that are not limited to the subject only such as becoming a lawyer after studying law.

Very diverse city and students from all over the world. You will see a good mix of different cultures in your accomodation halls. Bristol is ranked as having one of the highest graduate employment opportunities which is another bonus. There are many part-time job opportunities which can be found (but look early to avoid disappointment) to make up for the cost of living which seems to be worse in the south than in the North...

Great gardens and tennis courts where you can also play basketball. Would recommend to anyone thinking about moving into halls to pick Goldney at Bristol. However, WiFi isn't great sometimes in the rooms. Having said this, there is a great resource in the study room at Goldney, where the Internet connection is fairly solid.
