I love Queens because it has a wide range of facilities and resources that are easy to access. Staff are friendly and helpful in my experience and create great lecture resources. The brand new students union is great and the campus is a mixture of beautiful historic buildings and new modern buildings. Queen's is only a 20 minute walk into the centre of town and is great for student life with many clubs and societies.

My course is taught entirely in person and I have weekly contact hours with all of my tutors as well as their office hours and email addresses where they are available to help. I really enjoy my course and its easy to follow as all of the lecture material is posted online to access later for revision purposes. My course includes a placement year abroad which is a great opportunity.

Elms is about a 20 minute walk away from Queen's and then a further 20 minutes away from the city centre. However it is very close to a shop which is very convenient. Rooms are allocated firstly to people who live the furthest away but this meant a lot of people missed out on accommodation and had to use private accommodation. The rent was cheap compared to some of my friends who study in Edinburgh or London. However, now I rent a shared house which is half the price of the halls. The advantage of halls though is that bills are included, including Wi-Fi for 2 devices which was fast and reliable. It was very safe as there was security on the gate where you had to show your student card and key in order to get in at night. The property management was great as there was a maintenance team who were very helpful and a cleaner who cleaned common areas each week. It was a very fun place to live and was very sociable.
