Most of the facilities are nice however some have a lack of natural lighting and other such things which I would classify as a little picky in terms of University issues. I have had some troubles with the Student's union as a member of the uni's brass band -they're poor communication led to us having to drop out of this years (2026) unibrass- however other than that one instance I have had no issues with them.

My classmates and teachers are all very lovely and are clearly interested in what they teach which really pays off and what they teach is normally very helpful. I do wish we had more contact hours which would certainly decrease the sheer amount of independent work you have to be doing (especially in terms of weekly vocab that you have to build up in not very much time) however I understand that that would quickly add up and students may simply not have enough time for that.

I've not had any issues with management but I have heard that they don't take roommate issues very seriously. It is very much overpriced and I would suggest living in accommodation that you find outside of university accom but I've had great experiences with my flatmates. We have also had some issues with the wifi but a quick trip to the IT department has fixed that.

Fantastic staff support academically, well-being needs better facilitating. Poor support on offer in this department
