The sports and societies being free is one of the best things, and the level of teaching is very good. However, it leaves a lot to be desired on the student life side of things. It lacks a lot of the student atmosphere on nights out that bigger uni’s have. The only good thing is AU night on a Wednesday.

The lecturers themselves and content is extremely good, however for the amount of money I am playing I feel I should be getting more contact hours. For example, for my core Spanish module there is only 3 hours per week, which feels like very little.

It was reasonably cheap for student halls, quite basic but good value for money.

The general area

The small tight knit group of the lecturers and students because of the small department. Needs to offer more in terms of help with career prospects
