Great location, compact and easy to navigate campus, absolutely zero signal in degray building though. Campus docs are great

Quite full on considering im doing a triple ba, like theres enough content for one course in each segment so its quite hard to maintain everything, i cant study langauge as much as id like

Hardly any washing machines for such a big accommodation but it was clean and comfy. Because it was a renovated building some of the rooms were oddly shaped and had questionable furniture placement but my room was decent

Timetabling. Student union has tried their best to accommodate us (as far as I know) but the society I am on committee for are regularly disregarded by timetabling - either replaced by other societies, or by external bookings. I understand that the university needs money to function but that shouldn’t be made our problem when we are paying so much to be here. I love my life at YSJ but timetabling need to step up. (£1000 to use the auditorium we should be able to access for free? Hell no.)

I have the upmost respect for all of my professors. They are all passionate and helpful, and they encourage enthusiasm and contribution. For the most part, I feel safe in classes.

My only complaint is how expensive everything is. I understand York is an expensive city to live in, but I am a student and I am not made of money. When there is NOTHING available to me except the most expensive option, and the only option is to make myself ill working to afford my rent, it makes me question whether or not it is worth the effort.
