The best aspect is the location, situated the perfect distance from the city centre, healthily separating social life and academic life physically, all whist only being of walking distance. The worst aspect would be the appearance of Derwent college, although it's looks if the worst thing I can name, I think the university overall is pretty great.

The best aspect is how passionate the teachers genuinely are about their course content. The worst aspect is the lack of career prospect advertisement. Being from the humanities and arts department, when I visited the careers fair, it was VERY much aimed at STEM students.

The best part of Alcuin is the distance from the heart of campus, since it’s on the outskirts it feels a little more like home and gives you that little walk on a morning. The worst aspect would be the cost, it simply isn’t justified for a shared flat on a student budget.

The university has a strong community feel, with lots of events to take part in.
