The community at Warwick is so strong, and I’ve made so many friends here, especially in societies. There a such a broad range of societies that allow me to do everything I’m interested in. The facilities for studying in are also great, and I really love the Faculty of Arts Building.
To me, the biggest downsides to Warwick are the location - it’s very far from where most students in 2nd and 3rd year live in Leamington Spa -, and the staff can often be more focussed on their research rather than teaching students.

Some of the lecturers are clearly very passionate about the subject and about teaching, and they can teach really well, however some lecturers are much more focussed on their research rather than teaching, and are quite evidently not interested in the classes. Some of the content covered is very relevant, however in some modules it is dated and not covered in a way that allows for deep understanding. The department tries very well to respond to feedback from students. but often it is too little, too late.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Great location in relation to campus and Cannon Park, and has the best people. Claycroft 3 is much nicer than Claycroft 1 in my experience.
I had two separate occasions where rainwater started leaking through the ceiling in my room, but residents’ services were quick in giving me a temporary replacement room and fixing the leaks.

Staff can be difficult to contact or to work with but the non academic side of the uni is well established and successful

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Rooms are spacious and maintenance staff are friendly, location is slightly further from central campus than the rest of the halls but I don’t find this is an issue
