Tell us about your overall university experience so far.
I have loved Swansea University. It has given me a sense of belonging in the short time I have been there. Makes it difficult to miss home, but when you do, there's always someone on hand to help.
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
Excellent. They buildings are good. Classrooms, moot rooms, seminar halls etc are all top notch.
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
The academic faculty, is excellent and have an open door policy where we can visit their offices during surgery hours with any doubts we may have. They are patient with the explanation.
We have personal mentors, from amongst the academic staff to help us with and issue we may have, personal or academic.
Students' union
What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?
The student Union is very helpful and addresses all the issues student face promptly. Very proactive as well, taking up the responsibility of keeping students informed about pertinent information like events, epidemics in the area, safety concerns, student rights, etc.
Local life
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
Yes! The university is at a very good location. Right opposite the beach, with plenty of student friendly bars around. But surrounded by a big enough park that is a quiet campus. Has a regular bus service to the city center, which is 10 minutes away that has all the wellknown department stores, cinemas, clubs etc. They have plenty of Halls on campus, and have buses to the outside accommodations running every 5-15 minutes
Societies and Sports
How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?
There are plenty of societies to choose from, including arts, sciences, nursing, animal therapy, sports, quidditch, etc.
Many are free, but the ones that charge a one-time admission fee cost around £. 2-5/- max.
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
We have excellent faculty who have a lot of practical knowledge which they integrate with the theory. The classes are informative and fun.

Career prospects
How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?
We have a specific employability department, which holds classes for people seeking job-seeking prep.
They conduct employability seminars regularly, and career fair. They always send emails regarding job opportunities, and upcoming employment opportunities. Our department also has a department specific employability class.
