I think Liverpool is a really unique place to go to University. Great student city, lots to do and a brilliant night out.

The careers advice service was excellent, probably the best aspect of the University. They provided lots of help and guidance, even after graduation.

It was really bad when I was there but I believe it has got better now.

There were a lot of lecturers who did not seem to care about teaching, which I can understand as they are there for research. I experienced inconsistent marking for different students and some really poor course design e.g. not informing us what format an exam was going to be in.

I don't think the benefit of going to a Russell Group University really matters in reality. It is down to the individual.

Great, I was in Greenbank and it was a super place to start University life.

The uni experience is awesome. I'm now in my third year at Liverpool uni, studying International Business. To be honest my best piece of advice would be to not leave your assignments till the night before! It is difficult to keep an eye on your deadlines and lectures without someone constantly telling you to keep doing it. Make the most of first year when they don't mean as much, and you need to just make sure you pass, but after that make sure you put some effort in!
