Lots of available resources to suit everyone. Friendly staff members and supportive environment for both domestic and international student. Beautiful campus, lots of great scenery and places to see. Accommodation availability is abundant and of very high quality and respectable pricing. My course, particularly the language side, is very small and therefore not prioritised as much as other languages of the same course.

Business major of my degree is very well executed, supportive lecturers that explain all concepts well and are open to any queries and questions that I might have. All my lectures are in-class and can range from lectures, to seminars and tutorials, with 1-2-1s being offered when needed. Contact hours for business often range from 10-12 hours, with Mandarin being 4 hours a week additionally. It is easy to get into contact with my business lecturers. In terms of Mandarin, the nature is very supportive and individualised to each capability, however contact hours are often subject to change or cancellation and communication takes place through an external platform such as WeChat which is not affiliated with the university. Mandarin however does offer the opportunity to attend many culturally enriching events that support with my improvement in proficiency levels

Student support could be improved particularly within Language. The facilities in QUB as a whole are second to none.
