Amazing facilities especially in the equine sector, it feels very professional and gives you confidence in your life after university. The only way it could be improved is by improving the accommodation facilities, it feels a little outdated compared to (normal) universities in city centres.

The best aspects of my course is that it provides lots of trips showing the successful racing yards in the industry which inspires me when studying to one day achieve that. One thing that could be improved is to make more of the rider performance centre as I think its important to understand the different ways of riding that horse racing requires.

The uni halls is rather disappointing compared to the rest of the facilities at Hartpury. At Limbury 6 we are dealing with a leaking roof and a very loud construction site right outside the window which limits me from using my room during the day. The accommodation also lacks a communial lounge area which I think would have been useful at the beginning of the terms as it would have made it easier to socialise. The kitchen is quite small and doesn't provide enough chairs for those who share floor. I like that the halls are close to the yard (which I keep my horse at) so that is very handy for me.

I believe Hartpury is a great place to study as it allows progression from Hartpury college to university without disturbing my education. The facilities are amazing which makes learning easier and more varied. When living on campus during college it allowed me to meet new people from all over the world and people studying different courses. Graze food could be improved to be more healthy and less expensive.

I believe one of the best parts of my course is the amount contact I have with my tutor as she is also my unit leader, this makes sure there is always clear communication and also makes you feel like you can rely on someone to support you . Another amazing aspect of the course is how many trips we go on so we can get a better insight into the industry and begin to create contacts that will help in the future. I don’t believe there are any bad aspects of my course as I am really enjoying it !

I believe it would be better value for money if we had feee access to a washing machine within the flats. A really difficult thing about living in black friars is that fact that there’s no parking options for you other than a very expensive permit.
