The universities strive for sustainability really shows with how green the campus is. The way the university is laid out is decent with each walk from building to building never be boring. Personally I do enjoy my course even though getting around a day of lectures can be quite a trek. I understand that when the university was built the types of building there were very common, but it would be nice to see some sort of development or redesigning as the campus being composed of 70% bland brick can get boring and some buildings are just not appealing to the eye. For example, the central area being split by a road and not much more than a lot of grey steps.

The course is based around computers so of course workshops aren't going to be that interesting as it feels like a modern office, therefore its quite tempting do just do it from home. Some modules feel as if it is imperative to go in order to properly learn the content ie maths where as some feel like they can be online, although there are no online classes there is the option of learning from the recordings taken. The hours are at a good level of simultaneously not being overwhelmed and being challenged.

Some university halls are better than others depending on what type of person you are. Going self catered in birks, the halls were very bland as it were just rows of rooms with no common area which was very disappointing. It didn't make up for it but the room appliances were decent and the layout was decent. It was clear that the idea for having wet room toilets was a financial one as they are a pain to maintain. The location was somewhat of a plus as it was quite close to the university and a local store but the hill is a drawback. It became clear that some other accommodations were much better however I decided late, and it seemed there was a reason that this accommodation hadn't sold out yet.

I think it would be great if there were more areas (not quite working areas) to study where you can speak. At present on Streatham I use the Forum and at St Luke’s at the moment I just use above the canteen. I think the library building is closed.

Great teaching, however at times it is quite full on very fast, may be at the start of the course more covering basics may ease students in.
