Best aspects: - I love how supportive the university are for the students. I did my BSc here also with the idea of potentially looking at different universities afterwards, but enjoyed the supportive atmosphere so much that I stayed at Nottingham Trent. - Staff have been friendly and supportive when approached for assistance. - Fantastic support for career services (learning soft skills for the workplace, writing CVs, looking for post-graduate job positions or placement year positions). - Modern campus and feeling (Clifton campus), which looks really nice. - The online learning portal is great. It's really well designed and easy to use. When comparing my experience with friends that attended other universities, I feel lucky that Nottingham Trent have made accessing the learning materials and information so easy, - The university feels honest, they outline their expectations and serivces clearly which has meant to miscommunications. Worst aspects: - It's not in the most convenient location (Clifton campus), but does have great public transport links. - Due to the modern feeling of the place, it loses some of the character that you'd expect from a university. I doubt this can be helped though, as it is one of the newer universities.

In both my BSc and MSc, I have had access to use top of the line equipment that I otherwise woud not have had access to (particularly in BSc Chemistry). I feel that this has been super important to the development of my technical skills. I have heard from others at different universities that such access to expensive equipnent is rare, especially as an undergraduate. Lecturers are always happy to help students and cater to additional needs. For the most part the staff are friendly and approachable.

The environment is nice to study in, everybody is welcoming you.

The course is okay. A lot of work needs to be done, however.
