My favourite part of university life is that you all become a big family. You can not not bump into someone you know whilst in town or in the library or lake. It really feels like a community. My least favourite aspect of York uni is the geese taking on the role of my alarm clock.

The vibe at York is tranquil and peaceful, but this does not by any means make it boring. Get involved with societies and the sports clubs and your college for the best student experience. There is a really good sense of community so the minute you join something you will make friends
